Step 1>
You must open the section in OneNote from your notebook, as I have done in the example below before you can share it with others.
Step 2>
Once the section has been opened from the notebook, right-click the part with the mouse. You can share a section of OneNote by using the “Copy link to section” option in the drop-down menu that appears.
Step 3>
It is now entirely up to you how or with whom you share this OneNote section; simply click the link and do so. In this instance, we are using OneNote to share a part with a person. Use OneNote’s search bar located on the top bar to locate the person. Enter the person’s email address in this search bar and press the enter key.
Step 4>
A tiny pop-up box will show up in front of you when you click on one of the search results. In this window, click the “Message” icon as seen in the below image.
Step 5>
You can click the message icon to be automatically redirected to the email window. To paste the Section link, right-click on the message icon once more and select “Paste.”
Step 6>
The result is seen in the image below, where the section link has been added. To share the section with someone, simply click the “Send” button.
Share the entire notebook in OneNote
A notebook in Microsoft OneNote is made up of many pages and sections that you can share separately. However, if you would want to share the notebook as a whole at once, then you need to follow these steps.
Step 1>
Start by opening the shared OneNote notebook.
Step 2>
After opening the notebook, locate the “Share” button in the upper right corner of the window. By clicking on this button, you can quickly share the entire notebook with anybody.
Step 3>
The “Share Entire Notebook” option, which is indicated below, will appear when you click the “Share” button. Click it to share the full notebook in OneNote.
Step 4>
When a new, tiny pop-up window appears, you will be prompted to provide the email address of the person you are sharing the complete notebook with. Type in the email address and click the “Send” button.
