Advantages of Transferring Google Photos to Microsoft OneDrive
The main advantage of moving from Google Photos to Microsoft OneDrive is security – security from both directions, protecting your data from loss, theft, and corruption. You could lose your data if you attempt to save it in a conventional manner before cleaning up your Google Photos or Microsoft OneDrive. Similarly, you cannot be certain that the photos you attempt to store on a pen drive will be successfully recovered from your local memory or any other photo storage platform. For this reason, adopting a cloud-based approach is both essential and beneficial. The process is simple and relatively quick. So let’s get started on learning how to transfer Google Photos to Microsoft OneDrive.

How to Transfer Google Photos to Microsoft OneDrive – Step-by-Step Procedure
In this post, we’ll use the multicloud website technology that we previously covered to move Google Photos to Microsoft OneDrive. Thus, we’ll start by explaining how to utilize the multicloud tool and add clouds using multicloud. After that, we’ll look at using multicloud cloud transferring to move Google photographs to Microsoft OneDrive.
Step 1>
First, open a web browser on your PC and click the following link. This will take you to a website with a “Get started for free” button, as seen in the photo below.
Step 2>
You’ll be redirected to the next window, where you’ll be required to log in with an account before you can access multicloud.com. By clicking the following option, you can also log in with your Apple, Facebook, and Google accounts.
Step 3>
After logging in, your multicloud.com account will automatically open in front of you with a side panel displaying several options. Click the “Add cloud” option, which is seen in the attached image.
Step 4>
You will be presented with a variety of cloud sources when you click the “Add cloud” option. Since we are moving files from Google Photos to Microsoft OneDrive, we will choose each one separately. I am choosing “OneDrive” at this point.
Step 5>
The “OneDrive” cloud will ask for permission from the OneDrive account when you click on it to be added. Enter the password and grant it by clicking the “Sign in” button, as indicated below.
Step 6>
OneDrive Cloud has now been added, as you can see below. To add “Google Photos,” click the “Add Cloud” button once more.
Step 7>
Once more, all cloud sources will show up when you click the “Add cloud” button. In these apps, locate and choose “Google Photos,” as I have done in the image below.
Step 8>
An account from Google Photos will also be needed to log in when you click on the “Google Photos” program to add. Enter the account here if you wish to transfer images to Microsoft OneDrive.
Step 9>
Your Google account will need authorization to be added to multicloud.com when you choose an account to log in to Google Photos. To enable Google Photos to be added to the multicloud, click the “Allow” option.
Step 10>
The result is shown in the photo below, where both clouds have been inserted. Now, select the “Cloud sync” option from the side panel, as indicated in the following image, to begin transferring pictures to Microsoft OneDrive.
Step 11>
When you click on this “Cloud sync” option, two separate square boxes will appear in front of you, requiring you to choose both cloud providers. Simply click once in the box as shown below to choose which cloud sources to use.
Step 12>
We will first choose “Google Photos” in the “From” box and then click the “OK” button to add it to the box since we are moving photos from Google Photos to Microsoft OneDrive.
Step 13>
Likewise, as instructed below, we will now click on the “To” box and add a second cloud source to the multicloud in order to transmit data.
Step 14>
In this To box, we will choose the “OneDrive” cloud as we move Google Photos to Microsoft OneDrive, and then click the “OK” button.
Step 15>
The result in the image below shows that both cloud sources have now been added to the multicloud sync cloud tab. To sync between them, simply click the “Sync now” button, which is seen in the image below.
Step 16>
Your task will appear in the “Task list,” which you can access from the side panel as explained below, as soon as you click the “Sync now” button.
Step 17>
Upon selecting the “Task list” option from Multicloud’s left panel, you will notice that sync is now active in the list. The synchronizing process will take some time to finish. The amount of data determines this. As seen by the result in the below image, syncing may take a while if you have a lot of data, but it will only take a few seconds if you only have a few pictures.
Step 18>
After the syncing process is finished, you can check your OneDrive to determine if the pictures were successfully moved from Google photos to OneDrive. Open the OneDrive app, or use your file browser to access OneDrive.
Step 19>
All of your Google photos are stored in a newly formed folder called “Photos” that you can access when you open Microsoft OneDrive. To open it, click on it.
Step 20>
Let me show you the images on Google Photos that we were attempting to move before you open the Photos folder on OneDrive. View the images uploaded to Google Photos in the screenshot that follows. Let’s now see if we have these pictures or not by opening the OneDrive folder.
Step 21>
This is the result; with just a few clicks, all Google images have been moved to Microsoft OneDrive. You can quickly and simply move Google Photos to Microsoft OneDrive using this method.
